Background

Accessed from the C249 (from the south) and C247 (from the north), both road will take you to Corinna. There is a vehicular ferry at Corinna to cross the river. A boat ramp is at Corinna and from here boating down to the "heads' is possible. Foot access is possible at to the base of the Reece Dam which forms Lake Pieman. Good fishing for sea run trout occurs from October through to December. The river has a good population of river residents as well.
