Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) advises the community to avoid fire affected areas where possible.

If you’re driving, bushwalking, fishing or camping in these areas please take extra care as trees and other obstacles that have been impacted by fire are extremely dangerous and may continue to fall over the coming weeks.

TFS also remind the community to take care after heavy rainfall in fire affected areas as it can lead to minor flooding or landslips due to run-off.
